Jim Thomas has more news on the status of Tory Holt & Orlando Pace…
Billy Devaney had asserted that the Rams had enough wiggle under the cap room to sign Brown, Bartell and Butler while still keeping Holt and Pace, but that does not mean their future in St Louis is guaranteed.
Thomas also writes that the Rams are looking into several players at safety, including Sean Jones (Cleveland), Jermaine Phillips (Tampa Bay), and Jim Leonhard (Baltimore). Options at cornerback include Phillip Buchanon (Tampa Bay), Bryant McFadden (Pittsburgh), Jabari Greer (Buffalo) and Leigh Bodden (Detroit).
