Bears interested in Holt??
TurfShowTimes alerted us to this news story about Holt in the Chicago Sun Times.
The article says, “He’ll be an attractive player on the free-agent market for a team seeking a veteran presence.” and “[Holt] still has the speed to stretch the field and isn’t a divisive force like Owens.”
I can’t really see Holt being that keen on going to the Bears. It’s a hardly a step fowards towards play-off contention is it!?

Many think that Tory might want to play for the Panthers after the comments he made last pre-season and the Charlotte Observer is happy to remind people of that, but as the site mentions, “It’s hard to imagine the Panthers trading a draft pick for Holt and there’s virtually no way they’d be able to keep him under the $6.65 million base salary he’s scheduled to make in 2009 with his current contract.”
