Rams Free Agency Update
The Rams have made a few more roster moves the past few days, firstly signing Craig Dahl (S) and Chad Lucas (WR). Both were bit part players at their previous franchises and are not expected to contest for starting roles. Center Nick Leckey has left St Louis to join the Saints, making him the second Center to leave the Rams since signing Jason Brown.
Whilst former Ram Orlando Pace is visiting Baltimore, blocking TE Billy Bajema looks like signing a contract in the next 24 hours to wear the Horns.
In the meantime the Front Office has declared it will be looking into adding more receivers to the roster. Billy Devaney stated, “We need to add some numbers, whether it’s a veteran in the next couple weeks. Whether it’s through the draft. Whether it’s after the draft. We’ll be bringing some people in at some point.”
Devaney also joked about running a ‘wishbone’ offense, which is the polar opposite of the much-talked about Wildcat, joking that “You only need one receiver on the field” to run a wishbone formation!
